Our company is working hard at providing a product that is fast, efficient and most of all reduces the risk to first responders as well as the community.

Chwalek Safety's premise for R2ESD is to provide a barrier "system" that is fast, efficient, reliable, and works every time. Most importantly it needs to be cost effective so that the EOD unit and the taxpayer gets a good value for every dollar spent. When evaluating this product it is important to keep in mind that you are "not" comparing" 200lbs of gel bags to 200lbs of sand. Instead this is a system using a 47lbs box of dry bags right out of the officers truck to 200lbs of sandbag someone had to haul in or shovel onsite.

This system is activated by the use of water and converts into 1600lbs of suppression power. It is akin to using one bullet in a fire arm. The more EOD officers who respond to a call directly equates to how much more suppression power can be placed in service by adding more boxes. We call this our first responders kit which will have the ability to combat flooding, spills, but importantly the garden variety of of pipe bombs prevalent in America. The responder kit is a good way to ensure the right people have access to the correct tools at all times for specific jobs.

We have been told that current EOD operations dictate using a PAN to disable pipe bombs. If not done in this manner the bomb must be moved by truck through neighborhoods to a disposal site thus putting the bomb tech and public at increased risk. The risk from having to handle a suspect device multiple times is proportional to the increased risk for a negative event to occur.

Using the maximum capability of R2ESD would allow for easy disposal onsite without collateral damage. The company is currently testing other bags designed for specific EOD uses. However our main concern is public safety. R2ESD when used as designed meets this goal.

Below on On the left (hyperlink)  is a short videos that will illustrate just how effective our product is at providing fast, clean, effective barrier or suppression protection.
